Tamro considering strategic alternatives in Swedish pharmacy market

After the decision not to make a final bid for the pharmacy clusters, Tamro is considering its strategic alternatives towards the Swedish pharmacy market in whole. This work focuses now on finding the best way to leverage the extensive preparations already made for starting pharmacy operations in Sweden. Alternatives may also include cooperation structures with other market actors. Final decisions can be expected during the coming months.

Tamro perceives the pharmaceutical wholesale and retail markets as two separate markets in Sweden.
