Sakari Ahdekivi appointed CFO for Tamro Group

Sakari Ahdekivi M.Sc. (Econ), (45), has been appointed the new Chief Financial Officer for Tamro Group and member of its Group Management team. The previous Tamro Group CFO Lars Birkeland has moved to the position of Managing Director of Apokjeden Group, Tamro's fully owned subsidiary in Norway.

Sakari Ahdekivi joins Tamro Group from YIT Corporation where he has been the Group CFO since 2007. Before YIT he has worked as the CFO of Huhtamäki Oyj and in several senior financial executive positions in ABB in Finland and abroad in the UK, Switzerland and the USA. Ahdekivi is married with three school-aged children.
